SERENT CAPITAL HAS ACQUIRED A LA MODE TECHNOLOGIES

Announcement Date: May 7, 2015.
Buyer: Serent is a private equity firm that currently manages $600 million in committed equity capital.
Target: Mercury Network offers the Mercury Network platform, a SaaS appraisal vendor management platform and related products, which help lenders and AMCs manage their entire appraisal workflow in compliance with appraisal independence standards and banking security regulations.
Seller: a la mode technologies, inc. (“ALM”) develops, markets, sells and supports software products for appraisers, real estate agents, mortgage professionals, and inspectors. ALM is the largest provider of software for appraisers in the U.S.
Deal Rationale: The sale of Mercury Network will enable ALM to focus on its core business of developing software products for appraisers.
Terms: Serent Capital has acquired 100% of the limited liability company units of Mercury Network, LLC. Terms were not disclosed.
